I know I'm a bit late, but as I sit here watching my TiVoed American Idol Results Show, I figured I had enough time to comment. So, in other words, SPOILER ALERT below.
Adam Lambert -- I LOVED his performance... but then again, I really like his voice, and the fact that he was an understudy for the character of Fiero in Wicked -- which I LOVE. Last week's performance was quite weird for me, but I was still able to appreciate the fact that he sang the hell out of the bad, bad arrangement. Safe.
Danny Gokey -- Though it wasn't his best performance, I loved the energy and I think he's also a front-runner. Safe.
Lil Rounds -- She should have blown everyone away during Motown Week, but she didn't. She picked the wrong song... but she can still sing. Safe.
Allison Iraheta -- She sure as hell has some serious pipes for only being 16. She deserves to stay for a while. Safe.
Anoop Desai -- Good performance... much better than Michael Jackson week. Safe.
Megan Joy (Corkrey) -- I highly disliked her performance and think she should be in the Bottom Three and should actually be the one Going Home. Safe. (WTF?!?)
Kris Allen -- Loved his performance. Totally Safe.
Matt Giraud -- The Justin Timberlake look-alike / sound-alike gave a great performance last night... but is in the Bottom Three. I do not agree. Ends up being Safe.
Scott MacIntyre -- I put him in the Bottom Three because I was not entertained. And he was in the BT, but he was safe.
Michael Sarver -- I think he is sometimes rather "stiff-looking" when he performs, but I attribute that to not quite being comfortable on the stage yet. Still, I enjoy his singing. He is also in the Bottom Three... and I do not agree. GOING HOME. I don't feel it was his time yet. His performance was no where near as bad as Megan Joy's. I'm disappointed that he's leaving. At least he's part of the Top Ten and gets to go on the AI tour.
I promise that next week's will be better organized and hopefully will be posted on the same night as the initial performances. Hey, I might even include song titles... but don't take my word on that just yet.
