American Idol: Final 9 Results

I see that Paula is wearing some purple lingerie-looking dress tonight. Fancy. The group sang Journey's Don't Stop Believin'. Not bad... Anyway, here we go...
Ryan had Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, and Kris Allen all stand and go to the far side of the stage. He then had Adam Lambert, Lil Rounds, and Allison Iraheta stand up and go to the center of the stage. That left Scott MacIntyre, Danny Gokey, and Anoop Desai to stand and go to the right side of the stage. [Insert the 'after the commercial and performance' suspense here.]
Oooooo! David Cook is back and singing his song, Come Back to Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, love, LOVE his voice!!!!!! I am SO glad he won last season! David was presented with his Platinum album -- he's sold 1 million copies of his debut (Idol) album. Way cool.
On to finding out some Safers and some Not-So-Safers:
Kris Allen is SAFE. Matt Giraud is SAFE. Megan Joy is NOT-SO-SAFE. [WTF was with the crow imitation?!??]
Lil Rounds is SAFE. [HOW???] Allison Iraheta is NOT-SO-SAFE. Adam Lambert is SAFE.
Danny Gokey is SAFE. Scott MacIntyre is SAFE. Anoop Desai is NOT-SO-SAFE.
So, to recap, the Bottom Three are Megan Joy, Allison Iraheta, and Anoop Desai.
Lady Gaga is up next to perform... She has on THE worst wig that I've ever seen! And I totally don't understand her song, Poker Face. This chick is weird. She is TOTALLY lip synching -- she pulled the microphone away from her mouth before the word she was supposedly singing was done playing over the speakers. Also, she was doing some serious dancing and wasn't out of breath while 'singing'. Hmmmm.... she is just... odd.
Anyway, Allison Iraheta is SAFE. Now it's down to Anoop and Megan.
Going Home: Megan Joy. [Thank gawd! I wasn't sure I could tolerate yet another week of her voice. Her final song tonight was painful for me.]
Next week brings us songs from the year each finalist was born. Ought to be interesting. Could they not get mentors for this week and next??? S'okay, we can take a break from the mentors for a few weeks.
