American Idol: Girls, Week 2

posted Tuesday, 28 February 2006

Going Home: (Take your pick... two of the three are going...) Kinnik Sky (blah), Heather Cox (couldn't have picked a worse song...) or Brenna Gethers (ouch... not good).

Oh-So-Definitely-Staying: Lisa Tucker (the youngin' has got it goin' on), Melissa McGhee (good song choice), Paris Bennett (she's just so damn cute and can sing), Kellie Pickler (she's just so damn cute and can sing), and Mandisa (sister has got it goin' on).

The song choices tonight were mediochre at best, though, there were a few (see the Staying list above) who sang the hell out of their so-so song choices.  I wanted to slap Paula for telling Mandisa that she "has a beautiful face" -- see, I've been there, where people have told me that because the rest of my body looked like Mandisa's -- and that's just WRONG.  Mandisa is beautiful all over.  I think she is fabulous just the way she is, and I hope she knows that and maybe didn't hear Paula say that.

OK, that's all for now...
