American Idol: Girls, Week 3

posted Tuesday, 7 March 2006

OK, this week we get rid of two more girls to get down to the 6 who will make up the final 12.  I'll go girl by girl...

Paris Bennett -- she's just so damn cute and sings just about everything damn well.  She stays.

Lisa Tucker -- damn near ditto what I said for Paris, though I think I like Paris' spunk more.  Stays.

Melissa McGhee -- she brought it tonight with that Heart song.  She keeps growing each week.  Stays.

Kinnik Sky -- sorry, not good for me.  This is her week to go.  LEAVING on Thursday.

Katharine McPhee -- she brought some good stuff to the stage tonight.  Stays.

Ayla Brown -- there's something about her that I just don't like and I can't put my finger on it.  I totally did not like her song selection.  LEAVING on Thursday.

Mandisa -- my girl BROUGHT IT tonight.  I like her chances if she keeps singing the hell outta each and every song she chooses.  Stays.

Kellie Pickler -- again, another irresistable cutie, who can sing.  As Simon said, she's not the best singer, but her charisma is what carries her through.  Stays.

So, in a nutshell... Leaving on Thursday: Kinnik Sky and Ayla Brown.
