American Idol: Top Seven Results

posted Wednesday, 15 April 2009

Without further ado:

Allison Iraheta is safe.

Adam Lambert is safe.

Anoop Desai is NOT-SO-SAFE.  (Bottom Three)

Jennifer Hudson sang a single from her new album.  She is so pretty and has flawless skin, which I covet.  I really like her work.  Moving on...

Kris Allen is safe.

Lil Rounds is NOT-SO-SAFE.  (Bottom Three)

Matt Giraud is NOT-SO-SAFE.  (Bottom Three)

Danny Gokey is safe.

To recap the Bottom Three: Anoop, Lil, and Matt.  (I predict that Anoop will be safe and that Lil is going home.)  Anoop is safe.

OMG!!!  It's MILEY CYRUS!!!  OMG OMG OMG!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!  Or not.  I couldn't understand a bunch of her mumbly lyrics at the beginning.  And is it me, or is she dressed a little older than she should be for her her age?  She's wearing a shimmery, strapless, skin-tight floor-length gown.  Also?  She's on American Idol, not the Grammys.  Anyway, I'm over the performance.  Moving on...

Going Home:  Matt Giraud.  (WHA?!??  Are you serious???!!!???  Him over Lil?  WTF.)  He is now singing for his survival... and I don't believe the judges will save him tonight.  Not after that performance.

In that case, I'm going to make a prediction for next week: provided none of the contestants doesn't totally eff up, Lil will be going home next week.

Scratch that!  The judges SAVED Matt!!!  They admitted that his performance tonight (to save himself) was not nearly as good as it was last night, but that he didn't deserve to go home.  That being said, that means that TWO people must go home next week.  The theme is Disco... which means that I believe that Matt and Lil will go home... just delaying the inevitable.
