Yeah, so I got it 3/4 right:
Will Makar -- He's young and can take lessons and do really well. I wasn't really getting much of his personality -- it was almost as if he didn't have one. I can picture this kid on Broadway.
Kinnik Sky -- She didn't seem to "know herself" as a performer and didn't know what songs to pick to showcase her talent. I don't have much to say here because I didn't really get any vibes from her, either.
Ayla Brown -- It bothered me to see her so upset at being cut. It was almost like she *expected* to make the Top 12 because she just excells in everything she's ever done, and this should also have magically happened for her as well. I totally get the whole "believe in yourself" thing and thinking positive that you're gonna make it, and I probably would have cried too, but to me, it just seemed like she couldn't believe that she didn't excel here as well. I dunno.... that's just my take on it.
Gedeon McKinney -- I was a little surprised that he was voted off... I thought he'd stay at least another week. I know I definitely thought he sang better and had a much better song selection than Kevin Covais, but that. halting. way. of. speaking. that. Gedeon. has. was. grating. on. my. last. nerve. At any rate, Gedeon has his faith to carry him through anything (did y'all get that vibe when he was speaking after he found out he was going home? I think he made that abundantly clear...). He'll go on to do something great and help people. After all, he's very young and such a go-getter.
Anyone else notice that Ryan Seacrest is no longer saying "Seacrest, out" at the end of the shows? I guess he got enough flack about that. It was getting old. And what's with him suddenly dressing for the Snazz Factor™? He's really been a snazzy dresser with those ties and jackets. I kind of like the more relaxed look... but then again, who am I?
That's it for this week, my peeps.
