Are You More... ?

posted Saturday, 4 March 2006

A little late, but this week was Hell Week™.  (WTF??!!??  I 'posted' this once already... WITH answers.  Where the hell did they go?!??  Guess I try again...)

 Are you more...

01) Unassuming or naive?  Unassuming.  I'm sure I'm naive about a few things, but I'm mostly unassuming.

02) Likely to vote based on candidate's overall stance on issues or likely to vote based on political party?  Generally, I vote along party lines, unless I totally don't like the stance on issues that my party's candidate takes.

03) A fan of country pop music or a fan of rock pop music?  Rock pop, please.  I don't mind the occasional country crossover song, but gimme ROCK!

04) A good casserole sort or a main dish and two sides sort?  Main dish with two side dishes, please.  I'll do the occasional casserole, but I'll never be a Casserole Queen.  Jon, you should be pleased to hear that!

05) Pleased with your country's team's performance at the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics or disappointed with their performance?  What Olympics?  There were Olympics this winter???  Ummm, I'm more of a summer olympics person.  If I watch any winter olympics, it's mainly figure skating that I catch, and even that isn't at the very top of my list.  As far the US medals are concerned, they should have done a lot better than they did, but we had a few hotdogs out on the slopes who were jackasses.  OK, maybe one guy.  Still, could have done better... but I'm OK with where we finished.  The US doesn't always have to dominate.

06) Gobsmacked or lollygagged?  Lollygagged.  I puttered around aimlessly today, except for the various loads of laundry.  Dawdled a bit here and there....

07) Indiana Jones or James Bond?  Indiana Jones.  He MUCH less pretentious, and not a high-maintenance guy.  Indiana doesn't get manicures.

08) A believer that there are strict rules about line-ups (e.g. no cutting in line) or one who will let little things like that slide?  Strict rules, especially when I am in line.  Occasionally at school, I'll place a student in a spot within a line, therefore, it's not breaking the "rules" because I said so.  But basically, everyone's gotta wait their turn.

09) One who understands and can chart Boolean logic in speech or one who either can't precisely map it out or doesn't think it's that important?  Um, yeah.  I can use Boolean logic in a search engine.... are you talking about diagramming sentences?  I used to be a pro at that... but these days, that diagram would look more like a stick figure flipping you off.  I can tell you the parts of speech within that sentence, however.  And, yeah, it's important.

10) Someone who will eat when you're hungry or someone who will eat because it's time to eat?  I eat when I'm hungry, which is just about every 2-3 hours (sometimes as long as 4 hours).  Sometimes, it's just a snack and sometimes it's a meal.  I don't eat just because it's a specific meal time.  My eating schedule is different from other people because of the gastric bypass surgery that I had.
