Carrie Me Away
OK, I know that was a lame title, but hey, it's late and I'm hungry.
So, Carrie Underwood won American Idol. Frankly, I couldn't be more pleased. She'll go the country route and I might or might not hear from her again (a la Ruben Studdard)... and Bo Bice will release a CD before we know it! WOOOO-HOOOOO!!!! Hope he talks to Clay Aiken soon.... Bo's gotta go and do what Clay did.
Seriously though, both were deserving of the title. I believe she wanted it just a bit more than he did, but that doesn't matter now.
But did we really need a two-hour show??!!?? I think not. My ass got tired of watching. I mean, my ass got tired of sitting there, falling asleep while I was watching.
And? Mikalah Gordon? I would be happy if she would never resurface again. She annoys the snot outta me, and believe me, I have a lot of snot with this allergy season, let me tell ya.
Let's see.... what else? Oh yes, was that whole David Hasselhoff bit necessary? I think definitely not. I think ol' Dirk got a woodie.... or at the very least, I saw belly fat overrun. Dude! Put it away! NO ONE wants to see that -- even those of us who have belly fat! And how about Star Spangled Banner Girl? How could she go out on stage like that and still feel good about herself. I about cried for her. I would have been mortified. See, William Hung just didn't know any better. I believe SSBG did know better.
And now that all of my shows have finale-d, wtf am I to watch? Reruns of House until Nip/Tuck starts up again, I guess. Any suggestions?
So, is Bo's CD out yet???!!?? C'mon!!! Hurry up!!!
