Not Worthy

posted Wednesday, 18 June 2008

I've got nothing that's worthy of an entire post, nor do I have a title.  So it is what it is.

  • I've got to clean tomorrow -- my inlaws are coming in to town and will be spending two nights here -- Thursday night and Saturday night.  Friday night will be spent in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
  • At least I did a pretty decent cleaning about a week ago when a group of my friends came over for a cook-out.
  • My inlaws have never been to Niagara Falls.  Jon and I have been twice and this will be our third.
  • My last molar on the bottom right of my mouth broke on the Friday night before Memorial Day.  Naturally, the dentist's office didn't reopen until the following Tuesday, but by then I had forgotten about it because it wasn't aching any more.  It's back.  And I can't get in until June 30th -- Apparently, dentists take vacations, too.
  • I've decided that my Jazzercise instructor has the weirdest things happen to her.  Her latest issue is an uninvited house guest (a woman, not an animal).  Suffice it to say, it's a long and involved story that is wild and hilarious.  I don't know anyone else who has things like what she tells me happen to them.
  • I was foiled again as far as cutting the lawn goes.  I wonder how many of my neighbors are going to mow their lawns again after I try to sneak it in on Thursday???  It's that damn Lawn Mowing Disease™!
  • I had lunch with my mom and sis at Subway (BTW, I love their Honey Oat bread!) and then dessert at Mootown Creamery.  I got the Barn Roof concoction -- vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, Spanish peanuts, whipped cream and a cherry on top... but I had them mix in some peanutbutter into the vanilla ice cream.  MMMmmmm!!!  I still have half of it left in my freezer.
  • I'm supposed to be labeling file folders and filing papers in my filing cabinet, but you can see that I have been waylayed.
  • I'll probably play one of my hunt and peck games before it's all over.  Oh, you don't know what that is?  It's one of those crafty hide-and-seek games on the computer where they give you a list of items to find and you search for them in a picture.  Right now, I'm playing Mystery P.I. - The Vegas Heist .  Mom and I are hooked on these games. (PS -- you can download it and play the trial version for 60 minutes to decide whether or not you like it before you buy it.)
  • I now have to further Rabbit-Proof™ my garden.  Lilo spotted a rabbit having his dinner in the garden this evening (GOOD KITTY!!!).  I ran out in the yard yelling something about "... you wascally wabbit!  You SCALAWAG !!!  GET OUT OF MY GARDEN!!!!  Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!..." I will be on the hunt for chicken wire next week, since I won't have time the rest of this week.
  • I think I have to go downstairs and get that remaining Barn Roof that is taunting me from my freezer.
And with that, I am done!  Have a fantastic Friday Eve™ (Thursday)!!!
