On The Homefront

posted Thursday, 16 March 2006

So I'm working from home today.  Being a teacher, it's kinda difficult to "work from home," if you know what I mean.  I woke up around 4 or 5 AM and immediately felt that if I didn't stay home today and sleep, that I would be very sick very soon.  I've already got the headache (sinus) and stuffy/runny nose with drainage that's starting to make me cough.  Last night, I felt on the verge of being in bed, sick, for a few days... and I wanted to stave that off.

Anyhow, I slept until about 11 AM and then got up and had breakfast.  I've been going through email in my PJs and am trying to gather the energy to go make something for lunch.  Later on, I have to get ready to face the real world and go work out and then head out to teach community education at 7 PM.

I can say one thing:  Lilo was very happy that I stayed home today.  Very happy, indeed.  She also stayed near me to make sure I was OK.  Now that's Kitty Cat Love™!

Well, time to go make the doughnuts lunch.
